MCSC runs the island’s local United Fund campaign, which is not affiliated with the larger United Ways on O‘ahu or Maui. In the annual campaign for fiscal year 2006-07, the campaign met its goal of raising $55,000. These funds were distributed to 24 local non-profit programs and schools, who served virtually all of the island’s residents:
