The abandoned Moloka'i Electric Company power plant is located in the island's main town of Kaunakakai. It sits on a large, centrally-located parcel of land and has a number of usable structures including a 2-story generator building, and an office building.
The site has been declared a Brownfield due to chemical pollutants that remain on the property. MCSC plans to clean and redevelop the site for use as a business incubator.
